Thanks Simon for referring this performance for us! Simon was one of my music/saxophone students some 10 years ago. I loved to teach back then, but after a few years i found i am not much a good teacher after all, my problem is “lack of patience (on students slow progression), lack of tolerance (on students trouble in life and work), lack of teaching technique ( always asking for too much from students)”, which caused many students with mental illness… After so many years i finally found out that I am a good student, instead of professional teacher like Simon. It takes so much heart to be a good teacher, my salute to them all!

This is the last day of our most SUPER BUSY AND CRAZY performance season in the past 6 yrs…. from Sept 2011 to Mar 2012, we have performed more than 170 live performance in 180 days…. 120 of them are private functions and over 50 of them are hotel bar & restaurant gigs…. Man, which band could work as hard as Ladybird? we honestly do not know how we survived this kind of crazy performance schedule, but I’m so proud of our musicians and our band… the dedication, heart, teamwork spirit and hardwork are simply beautiful! I could not ask for more and we are now going a take a long break, then prepare ourselves for the even more challenging work coming!

Oh My Goodness!!! Over 20 professional musicians perform for Felix & Queenie’s wedding tonight!!! Yes over TWENTY musicians from 4 different music groups… gosh this is not simply a wedding performance, this is a real Concert… Felix the groom is a professional musician too, I’m sure he enjoyed it very much with over 20 musicians accompany his singing haha! and i enjoyed it very much too, we all have fun tonight! the sound is so good, really good! So happy to meet my USC schoolmate Selina as she’s the MC tonight with Noel Chu!

Man, i’m impressed and amazed once again! I just love my job… what’s next to amaze me huh?!
